COMPUTER CLUB ISSUE 13
VINCENT VAN GOGH In Mr. Snowdon's class we are learning about Vincent Van Gogh and trying out some of his style of painting. He never coloured in or shaded in he just used different styles of painting. Vincent Van Gogh is mostly famous for chopping his ear off. I know horrible isn't it? He lived a very sad life and died having had a very very VERY sad life. by Sally
SOMERSET MINEHEAD Near to Minehead there is a place called Tropiquaria. I went there on Saturday. I held the biggest python around my neck. I went on the pirate ships (there are two of those). Afterwards I played in the fort - that was great. I really enjoyed the maze that is in there. I ate my picnic before going home. by Ruby
TAUNTON If your going to go up to Taunton they why not pop in to Tommy Taylors. It's really cool because there is a curvy, wurvy blue slide and a death slide with a bump in the middle. Then there is a quite small death slide and a very big death slide - so have a go! (I never go on the really big death slide because once I hurt my neck.) by Sophie
DEVON I went on holiday in Exmouth and stayed in a caravan at Devon Cliffs. I went swimming a lot and visited Bicton Park and the Country Life Farm Park. In the evenings we went to see Rory the Tiger where we played games and had a disco. This is the best holiday I have had so far. by Nina
FRANCE Last week we went to France to stay in our new bungalow. It was very very hot and I went surfing. The water was freezing. We went to France on the catamaran. It was very early in the morning and the catamaran went very fast. by Michael
On Monday morning I woke up very early. I was still tired. On the way to Poole we saw a fox cross the road. In Taunton we also saw lots of baby rabbits. On Tuesday I played on my scooter all around our bungalow, it was very hot. I got a suntan. Lissie cane to Surtainville to help Vanda. We got soaked through by a big wave. by Matthew
INDIA Hi, I've just been to India. The temperature was 49 degrees celsius. The Indians thought it was cold! I saw some camels and had a ride on one. It was quite scary because it looked at me in a peculiar way. They are known to spit and nip. The hardest bit was getting on. It knelt down but it got straight up - I was only half on! | THE MIDDLE SCHOOL
I think the Middle School is going to be great but I'm a bit nervous about meeting people and having a new teacher. I don't know who I want to be with and I don't think I can make new friends that fast. by Michelle
I am very nervous about the Middle School. I have never been to a different school before so I'm really nervous about it. It's like moving to a different world. I am going to miss all the teachers, all the members of staff - everybody - even the people who are a pain in the neck. I'LL MISS YOU ALL!!! by Sally

FOOTBALL On Saturday, Sunday and Monday I had a football tournament over the Recreation Ground. We won four matches and lost two. There were two other good things: 1. Minehead Brits won the Festival of Football and 2. I finished top scorer for our team. I am a goalkeeper and I also scored a goal from my own goal. Then I started to play outfield and in my first game outfield I scored another goal. After that, in a friendly, I scored another 6 goals and I was the top goalscorer for our team. by Connor.
On Saturday, Sunday and Monday I played football. We won four matches and lost two. Then we played a friendly against Minehead C team. We beat them nine zero. I play for Minehead B team. We were the only team without a medal. I played midfield and hit the post. The teams come from all round England. by Luke
