COMPUTER CLUB ISSUE 8
The year 4 children really enjoy learning about the Aztecs and particularly enjoy making the Aztec masks from the number of articles that have been written about them.
HOW TO MAKE AN AZTEC MASK. When you make an Aztec mask you need a balloon, newspaper, white paper and paper mache. Then glue down the newspaper onto the balloon. Make a lot of layers so it is thick. When it is dry make a nose, with a big lump of newspaper. Then you take the paper off the balloon. Now you are ready for painting. You can make up a mask or get your idea out of an Aztec book. by Luke
CLASS In class we are painting our Aztec masks. We paint them dark blue then we are allowed to paint them in our way. We draw some ideas of what we would like then when the mask is ready we can paint them. That is what we are doing now. In computers we are doing Times Table on the internet. We are being timed and we have to get all our sums right in a minute. You will have to get all 20 right if you go on this game. GOOD LUCK! by Sally

GERMANY Germany appeared in 14 of the 16 FIFA world cup tournaments (1934-1938, 1954 - 1998). Germany is one of the three countries to win three FIFA world cup trophies (1954, 1974, 1990). The other two countries are Brazil and Italy. I bought the teddy in Tescos because it's nice and soft and my mum said it might be worth a lot in a few years. by Michelle
On Saturday I went on a coach trip to Creally Park. I went on the Victorian carousel lots of times. There were lots of farm animals to see as well. I did not want to leave. by Nina. |
