MUSIC SPECTACULAR

It was really good to be there and it was a really great opportunity to be there.

I liked singing "The Owl and the Pussycat". When we first started learnng it in the choir it didn't sound right.  When we got to Butlins and rehearsed it, it sounded a lot better.

BACK TO "MUSIC AT MINEHEAD FIRST"

On the 20th March, 85 choir children went to Butlins.  At the end when we were singing "Oh I do like to be beside the seaside" everyone went "OH".  When it was at the end there was no 'Oh'.  My mum thought it was great.

I went to Butlins to the Spectacular.  When I was singing I needed the toilet.  When I came back I saw my mum.

When I went to the Butlins Spectacular I sang "The Owl and the Pussycat".  I thought it was exciting but it was a little scary too!

Gracie

It was scary because I had never sung in front of everyone before.  Miss Lothian was using the Digital Camera.  We had a little play before everyone came to watch us.

I was in the choir and we went to Butlins and it was the Spectacular.  We sang "The Owl and the Pussycat".  In between the songs a man read a bit of the story.  Then we watched a film and the year 4 children performed part of the music on the film.

I never knew that it was going to be like it was but I didn't feel nervous.  I felt very, very happy.

When all the choir got to Butlins I was like a happy man because I liked looking at all the people.  Mrs. SG took us to the stage to practice the songs and we went up and down, up and down.  After we had our tea and some fresh air.

Our choir has 85 members including me.  I was really scared at first.  We sang 11 songs.

At Butlins it was good.  I was very excited.  I really enjoyed it.

When I went to the Butlins Spectacular their were lots of other schools.  We only had to practice one time.
