SNOW POETRY

 Year 2

The shiny snowflakes sparkled as they floated down,

Until the morning came

And the snowflakes were never seen again,

Because they were melted.

by Jonathon.

The bright snowflakes whirled out of a greyish sky,

Until morning came.

Then the children came out to play happily.

by Josh

How the snow falls when it's soft

And gently blows in the wind.

Quietly floating along the air,

All the children having fun in the snow,

Making snowmen.

Throwing snowballs at each other

And when the snow is melting away......

They're sad.

Ben and Michael.

It was a freezing winter morning

With lots and lots of silent snowflakes

Fluttering down like butterflies

With six points.

Amy and Sam

This is how snow balls whizz and splat!!!

This is how snowflakes fall to the ground

Gently and silently without a sound.

This is how snow drifts go, to and fro.

This is how snowflakes melt away

When the sun sends out his beams to play.

Jack and Aaron.

This is how snowflakes play about

Dancing up and all about.

Kez and Enzo

I went out in the snow

And made a cold snowman

Then went back in to have a nice

cup of tea

And I sat by the warm fire.

Lauren and Tyrone

Snow is very soft..

and very gentle...

and quiet.

Snowflakes are....

very delicate ...

and fragile.

Liam and Helena.

A winter morning

A freezing morning when it snows,

It is a very exciting day.

The snow is really soft and gentle.

Snowflakes as they float about.

When the children go out to play

Making a magical snowman.

As the glittering, floating snowflakes land on the snowman.

When the snow goes

There is now more fun.

Oliver and Amy
