The Magic Seed
Once upon a time a tall thin boy called Ben was walking down a street until suddenly he spotted a sweet shop on the other side of the road. He thought to himself for a minute or two and then he crossed the road. When he got into the shop he could hardly see anything! Then someone said "Hello" in a shivery voice. Ben spun around and saw a man at a till. "And what can I do for you?"
"Can I have a packet of jelly-beans please?"
"Yes, you can." Ben grabbed the packet of jelly-beans.
"How much do you want?"
"Four shillings will do it."
When Ben got home that night he opened the packet of jelly beans and to his astonishment there was a greyish sort of seed. Ben flipped the packet over to read the instructions but there weren't any! All it was, when you have planted me just nibble me because I am made of sweets and chocolate with biscuits in me.
Ben went out into his garden and planted the seed. Straight away the earth started to quiver and in five seconds a giant red and orange tree burnt out of the ground.
"GOSH" said Ben. "What a big tree! But that tree is most peculiar because it is red and orange.!"
Ben had never seen such a tall tree in his life. He pulled at the tree-trunk. A piece almot came off before he even touched it. He put it up to his nose and sniffed it. It smelt strongly of mint. He took a piece of the piece he had already picked off and nibbled it. "I don't believe it, it's made of sweets! It's incredible!"
Then everyday he took a piece of the tree and took it to school and he never ever ever told anyone about it. He didn't even tell his mum and dad.

The House under the Stairs.
One sunny Friday morning mum shouted to Andy "You've got mail."
Andy rushed down the stairs at 100 miles per hour and tore the paper off. The letter was from his choir teacher Maggie. It said he would be going to Butlin's to sing. Then he went to the house under the stairs and spun around three times and said "Who is there under the stair?" There was a puff of smoke and a flash of light in the house. Bertie and Tracker and TedTed all had napkins down their clothes and all it was was just a wizard called Harry. Harry was a kind, funny and helpful wizard. So Andy asked the Friday wizard if he could come to his concert at Butlins. "Yes I will. I'll be delighted to come and listen."
After that the Friday wizard asked Andy if he could go on a special treat to go to the BMX track on the wizard's special bike that goes quite fast. But at last the time came when Andy was going to Butlins to sing. Of course the wizard was going to watch Andy at Butlins. Mum, Gran Potts, Daddy and Grandad all came into Butlins. After that Andy put the Friday wizard back into the house under the stair and shut the door and went upstairs to brush his teeth. He went to bed and thought what an excellent day he had had.
